Last Updated: 09/05/2026
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (666valeting.co.uk), book our valeting services, and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
1. The Data We Collect About You
We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you to provide our valeting services effectively. Based on our booking process and marketing practices, this includes:
Identity & Contact Data: Your name, email address, phone number, and the exact appointment address where the valet will take place.
Vehicle & Service Data: Specific details required to perform our service, including your vehicle's make, model, colour, and registration number. We also collect logistical information such as the location type (e.g., private driveway, street parking, or office car park), access to utilities (water and power), details regarding specific stains or odours, and any photographs of the vehicle you upload to help us prepare the right equipment.
Promotional Photography (Consent Based): With your explicit permission, our staff may take "before and after" photographs or videos of your vehicle during the valeting process for use on our website and social media profiles.
Financial & Transaction Data: Details about payments to and from you, and other details of valeting services you have purchased. Please note: We do not collect or store your full credit/debit card numbers. All payment data is securely processed by our third-party payment gateway, Stripe (see Section 4).
Technical & Usage Data: This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including:
Information about your browser, network and device.
Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website.
Web pages you view while on this website.
Your IP address.

2. How We Collect Your Data
We use different methods to collect data from and about you, including:
Direct Interactions: You may give us your Identity, Contact, Vehicle, and Service Data by filling in our scheduling form, uploading images of your vehicle, verbally consenting to photography on-site, or by corresponding with us by phone or email.
Automated Technologies (Cookies): This website uses cookies and similar technologies, which are small files or pieces of text that download to a device when a visitor accesses a website or app.
These strictly necessary cookies are always used, which allow Squarespace, our hosting platform, to securely serve this website to you.
These analytics and performance cookies are used on this website only when you acknowledge our cookie banner. This website uses analytics and performance cookies to view site traffic, activity, and other data.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
Under UK data protection laws, we must have a lawful basis to process your personal data. We will use your data in the following circumstances:
Performance of a Contract: To process your booking, evaluate vehicle condition from your uploaded photos, visit your location, and provide the car valeting services requested using the appropriate equipment.
Legitimate Interests: To administer and protect our business, and to allow Squarespace to run this website, protect and improve its platform and services (Squarespace analyzes the data in a de-personalized form).
Promotional & Marketing Materials (Consent): If you provide explicit consent during the booking process or in person, we may use "before and after" photographs or videos of your vehicle on our website, social media profiles, and marketing materials. To protect your privacy, we will always blur or crop out your vehicle registration plate and any identifiable background features (like your house number) before publishing, unless you specifically instruct us otherwise. You can withdraw your consent for us to use your vehicle's images at any time.
Direct Marketing (Consent): To send you direct marketing communications via email, if you have opted in.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We do not sell your personal data. To run our business efficiently and securely, we share your data with the following trusted third-party providers:

Stripe (Payments): We use Stripe as our payment processor. When you pay for your valet online, you provide your payment details directly to Stripe. Your complete payment information is heavily encrypted and is never visible to us or stored on our servers. For more information, please review the Stripe Privacy Policy.

5. International Data Transfers
Because Squarespace, Acuity, and Stripe operate globally (including in the United States), processing your data may involve transferring it outside the United Kingdom. Whenever your personal data is transferred out of the UK by these providers, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it through appropriate legal safeguards, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (UK-US Data Bridge) or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, contractors, and third parties who have a business need to know.
7. Data Retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for.
Legal & Tax Purposes: By law, we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, and Transaction Data) for six years for UK tax purposes.
