Terms of Service
Last Updated: 09/05/2026
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of car valeting and detailing services by 666 Valeting ("we", "us", or "our") to you, the customer ("you" or "your"). By booking a service through our website (666valeting.co.uk), you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Bookings and Scheduling
Online Booking: All appointments are scheduled subject to availability through our online booking system. You will receive an email confirmation once your booking is accepted.
Location & Service Area: You must provide the exact address where the valet will take place. We cover a service radius of up to 20 miles around York. If your location falls outside this area, we reserve the right to cancel the booking or contact you to arrange a travel surcharge.
Vehicle Assessment: Our pricing is based on the vehicle make, model, and general condition described at the time of booking. If the vehicle is significantly dirtier than indicated (e.g., heavy pet hair, mould, biohazards, or extreme mud), we reserve the right to amend the price or refuse the service upon arrival.
2. Customer Responsibilities On-Site
To ensure a safe and efficient service, we require the following when we arrive at your location:
Working Space: The vehicle must be parked in a safe, legal, and accessible location (e.g., a private driveway, a spacious street parking spot, or an office car park with permission). We cannot work on busy main roads or pay-and-display car parks where valeting is prohibited.
Utilities: If you indicated on your booking form that you have access to an outdoor tap and power socket, these must be in good working order and accessible within a reasonable distance of the vehicle. If you indicated no access, please ensure there is adequate space for our van and equipment.
Personal Belongings: Please remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before our arrival. We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
Child Seats: For liability reasons, we will not remove or reinstall child car seats. If you require the seats or the upholstery underneath them to be cleaned, please remove the seats prior to our arrival.
3. Payments
Payment Processing: We use a secure third-party payment processor (Stripe) to handle online transactions.
No Deposit: We do not currently require a deposit to secure your booking.
Final Payment: Full payment for the service must be made upon completion of the valet, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the service.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customer Cancellations: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Because we do not take upfront deposits, we kindly ask that you respect our schedule and the travel time involved. Repeated cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in refusal of future bookings or a requirement to pre-pay in full.
Our Cancellations: We reserve the right to alter or cancel a booking due to severe weather conditions, equipment failure, or staff illness. In these rare instances, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.
5. Liability and Damages
Pre-existing Damage: We will conduct a brief pre-inspection of the vehicle upon arrival to note any pre-existing damage, scratches, dents, or interior tears. We cannot be held liable for pre-existing damage that becomes more visible after dirt is removed.
Vehicle Electrics: We use safe, professional methods to clean interiors and engine bays (if applicable). However, we are not liable for any issues arising from pre-existing faulty seals, exposed wiring, or electrical faults.
Limit of Liability: Our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with our services is strictly limited to the total price paid by you for the specific valet service.
6. Photography and Marketing
We may ask to take "before and after" photographs or videos of your vehicle to use for promotional purposes on our website and social media. We will only do this with your explicit consent, and we will always blur your vehicle's registration plate to protect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
